Customer Service Workforce Initiatives

Center for Customer Service Excellence

Prepares individuals throughout Philadelphia for employment opportunities in a wide variety of customer service-related industries, such as retail, banking, hospitality, insurance, call centers, and other businesses that involve working closely with the public.

Retail Skills Center

Created by the National Retail Federation Foundation and operated by JEVS Human Services, the Retail Skills Center recruits, trains, and places people in retail and customer service jobs at King of Prussia Mall and businesses in Montgomery County and the Greater Philadelphia region.

Welfare-to-Work Programs

Maximizing Participation Project

Offers support to families in Philadelphia making the transition from welfare to work and those who are in need of specific help managing barriers to self-sufficiency.

Provides a comprehensive set of individualized employment services to those receiving Public Assistance benefits, helping them achieve long-term activity in the workforce and self-sufficiency.
