Retail Skills Center

Serving Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware counties, the Retail Skills Center strives to enhance the skills of any individual interested in working in the retail, sales, and service industry. Created by the National Retail Federation (NRF) and operated by JEVS Human Services, the Retail Skills Center recruits, trains, and places people in jobs at the King of Prussia Mall and the surrounding area. Jobs in the retail industry offer stability, flexible schedules, and great potential for rapid advancement.

RSC’s interactive workshops and personalized training programs are based on the national retail industry's standards and staffing needs, and cover such areas as sales and customer service, work-readiness, professional interviewing techniques, and one-on-one consultations. School-to-career programs, job fairs, National Customer Service Certification, and advanced level training programs for current retail workers are also provided. Assistance in managing childcare, transportation and other issues is included in the program. The "core" retail-training program is free to all students who qualify, and is a combination of instructor-led workshops and self-paced study. Fees for other training (customized courses, field trips, National Customer Service Certification) are based upon class or group size and services delivered.
