Project Connect helps GWOT Veterans, Guards, and Reservists with disabilities successfully enter or re-enter the workplace and sustain meaningful employment in the civilian sector. Our comprehensive program supports you through each phase of discovering the next steps in your career path with the ultimate goal of enjoying on-the-job success. Our career coaching professionals deliver these valuable services with a personalized, caring approach to meet your unique needs and career goals.
Services
- Work with a personal Job Coach and Job Developer.
- Skills assessment.
- Assistance in applying military skills to civilian jobs.
- Identify Career Path to meet interests and skills.
- Coaching and practice with interview skills.
- Target potential employers and develop strategies for contacting these employers.
- Refine interview skills.
- Identify paid internship opportunities.
- Mentoring support on-the-job or off-site to increase job retention.
Eligibility
- 18 to 64 years of age.
- Resident of New Jersey or Pennsylvania
- Veteran or service as a Guard or Reservist in the GWOT
- Diagnosis of a physical, mental health or cognitive disability.
