It was a night to remember as the members of our E3 Power Center City program enjoyed their first prom at the Philadelphia Ethical Society on Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia.

These young adults have faced many diffcult challenges in their lives and did not complete high school. But through JEVS Human Services’ E3 program, they have earned their diplomas and are looking toward a brighter future.

With the support of many donors, volunteers, and program staff, E3 members were able to experience this important rite of passage. We would like to thank the following businesses for their generous donations to the prom:

Revivals Boutique in Narberth
Frankford Candy
Saks Fifth Avenue
NARS Cosmetics
John Barton Company
One 2 One Productions
Kate Farley Design

Thank you for helping us to “make prom happen!”

Media Coverage

It was a once-in-a-lifetime night for our E3 members, and many local media were there to share the story. Watch the video clips from Channel 6 Action News, PHL 17 and CW Philly here.

You can also read about E3’s first prom in a feature story from “Philadelphia Daily News”.

And in case you missed it, check out the story from CBS-3 and KYW radio that described our efforts to “make prom happen” for this motivated group of young people.
