Administrative Assistant in the Career Strategies program since 2007, Wendy is the first point of contact when a person inquires about career counseling services. Wendy knows making the call to reach out for help with a job search can be difficult. She understands that because she came to Career Strategies as a client who was looking to make a career change. Samara Fritzsche

Career Counselor and Licensed Social Worker, Samara received her MSW from the University of Pennsylvania. As a career counseling professional with 15 years of experience, Samara remains passionate about assisting her clients find fulfilling and gainful employment in a variety industries. Her holistic approach includes strategy development, networking, resume writing, interview preparation, supportive counseling and follow up. In addition to career counseling, Samara’s additional role in the department is to provide clinical supervision, crisis intervention, resources, and referrals to other agencies. Samara previously worked as a Cognitive Therapist at Moss Rehab’s Drucker Brain Injury Center outpatient program, and has many years of non-profit experience providing counseling and case management to families.

Senior Career Counselor, Jackie has over 15 years of experience in the career guidance field, and has worked at Career Strategies since 2014 providing individual career counseling services and group workshops. She also holds the following certifications: Career Partners International Master Career Transition Consultant, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and all Consulting Psychological Press assessments, Assess Coaching, Neurolinguistics Programming and Lominger Career Architect. Jackie’s prior employment included various global outplacement firms, as well as providing career transition and development training programs for Wharton Graduate School, Drexel LeBow College of Business Graduate School and Temple University and other professional groups. Jackie received her MA in Counseling Education from Villanova University, and her BS & Teaching Certifications in Education from Temple University.

Job Development Specialist, Gary is a workforce development and communications professional who currently provides individual job search preparation and support and group trainings, with a specialty in interviewing practice and networking. After 15 years in the workforce development field, Gary understands the stress that comes from anticipating and participating in the job interview process and is empathetic to those needing extra emotional support. He helps clients develop the confidence to master the art of story telling and reciting career accomplishments. He can help clients stand out from the competition as they engage in various settings like video and group interviews or in-person interviews. In addition to his strong relationships with clients, Gary uses his local network and extensive employer connections to reach out to local companies large and small, in all employment sectors, to get his clients’ resumes considered for interviews and employment.
