Looking for a job can be frustrating. Did you know that your mindset is as important as your resume?

Not your typical career workshop, the Job Search Support Series is here to help you reinvigorate your job search. In four weeks, you’ll learn a process to alleviate some of the stress that comes with a job search – leaving you reenergized, confident and refocused to tackle the task of looking for employment. (And with a personal action plan to help you achieve that goal!)

In Part II, you’ll Stay Positive! We’ll talk about how culture has reinforced our beliefs about the job search, and challenge the anxious thoughts that we all have. We will discuss how the lack of employment can impact one’s life, as well as how to develop and maintain strong, positive ideas – covering everything from mindfulness to meditation, to using measured, healthy words in everyday negotiations.

Registration required. You only need to register once to attend all four sessions.

All sessions are led by Penni Gould, Career Support Counselor at JEVS Career Strategies. A light breakfast will be served.
