Over half (53%) of HR professionals said they would be willing to hire individuals with criminal records\, compared to just over a third (37%) in 2018. But how can HR professionals make even more progress in hiring and retaining these individuals? \nThis free 4-week class happening 10/7\, 10/14\, 10/21\, and 10/28 (attendance is required for all dates) will offer insight for employers and reentry professionals on how to improve their hiring and retention processes. In her current role as an adjunct professor\, she is continuing to teach\, provide professional development support to undergraduate students and volunteer with JEVS Human Services Looking Forward program. \nJeffrey Abramowitz\, J.D. is the Executive Director of Reentry Services for JEVS Human Services. Jeff is the Vice Chair of the Philadelphia Reentry Coalition\, sits on the Executive Board of the Coalition on Adult Basic Education (COABE)\, and chairs the State Advocates for Adult Education Fellowship Program.
