NBC 10 News’ Tracy Davidson sat down with Jay Spector, President & CEO of JEVS Human Services, to talk about our organization’s 75-year history of helping refugees find employment and a new life in America. One of our program participants, Gentil, shared his positive experiences working with JEVS after arriving in Philadelphia from a refugee camp in Rwanda. Spector also spoke about JEVS’s decades of diversified programs for hundreds of thousands of at-risk individuals in and around Philadelphia with the common mission of “making hope happen” by providing opportunities for self-sufficiency. The current focus of JEVS initiatives includes helping youth to get an education and the services they need to transition into a secure adulthood. See the interview on NBC here:
