JEVS has also expanded its Tuition Assistance Program for employees, partnering with the following institutions to help reduce tuition costs for those wishing to continue their education: College for America, Drexel University, Peirce College, University of Phoenix and Community College of Philadelphia. This benefit is available to employees who have been with JEVS for at least one year.

In addition, JEVS’ Human Resources department has formalized an Internship Program, providing an opportunity to bring new talent into JEVS to help further our mission and for students in various degree programs to gain practical experience in our field. Individuals interested in internships or field practicum experience can apply online www.jevshumanservices.org/careers/internships.

“JEVS does a good job of making sure interns get the real work experience they need,” said Griscom.

Last year, JEVS Human Services was named to the 2017 Philly.com Top Workplaces, a list of the best places to work in the Delaware Valley. The top workplaces lists are based solely on the results of an employee feedback survey administered by a leading third-party research firm that specializes in organizational health and workplace improvement.  We are currently awaiting the results for 2018!
