To help individuals who are job-ready, JEVS is providing mentorship opportunities to help mentees grow their networks by connecting with those established in their desired field of work. Of course, mentorship is a two way street and the benefits for the mentor are many, including developing communication and leadership skills, enhancing a resumé, and possibly changing a life!
Two Mentorship Programs
Would-be mentors have two options: the 3 Cups of Coffee® program, where you can help a job-seeker who is looking to either start a new career or advance in their field; or the Gateway Mentorship Program, which connects 18-24 year olds enrolled in JEVS youth programs with mentors.
JEVS Gateway Mentorship Program
JEVS Gateway mentoring connects young adults ages 18-24 with mentors who can help develop professional skills, and enhance socioemotional learning. This is motivated by the well-researched concept that having a relationship with a trusted adult is extremely beneficial in healing trauma and helping young people succeed.
Mentors and mentees will meet twice a month over a six month period to work on goal setting and relationship building, as well as a variety of other personal and professional skills.

The 3 Cups of Coffee® Program
In the ever-growing “hidden job market,” more and more jobs are being filled through connections before they are even posted. Through just three one-hour meetings over a six week period, you will provide mentees with invaluable insights and connections that can lead them to success in not only finding a job, but in becoming a stronger contributor in their chosen field.
If you are interested in sharing your expertise and helping someone else to get ahead, sign up to be a 3 Cups of Coffee mentor.
