Other Ways to Give
Gift of Stock
There are many benefits to contributing appreciated stock. It will help the continued operation and success of JEVS Human Services, and it could mean tax advantages for you. If your securities are worth more now than when you bought them, you can increase your tax savings by contributing those securities to our organization. To donate securities, please instruct your broker to make the transfer using the following information in its entirety: Schwab DTC # 0164, FBO: Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., account # 40553953, for further credit to the account of JEVS Foundation, account #: 6504-4288.
Please contact Katherine Shinholster, Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations, or have your broker notify us of the transfer in advance, so we can provide you with a prompt acknowledgment to serve as your tax receipt. Please provide us with the following information: Donor Name, Donor Address, Donor Phone Number, Name of Security, Number of Shares Transferred, Planned Date of Transfer, and Restriction on Gift (if any).
Planned gifts such as bequests, charitable gift annuities, and trusts ensure the longevity of our organization and the success of our programs.

Review our Donor Bill of Rights.
JEVS Foundation maintains discretion and control over all charitable contributions that it receives, as required by U.S. law. The Foundation therefore welcomes unrestricted and restricted gifts, but it cannot accept gifts that are earmarked by a donor for a particular organization or person. In the unlikely event that the Foundation cannot fulfill the terms of a restricted gift, for example because a proposed recipient does not qualify to receive charitable funds under U.S. law or the funds received exceed those needed for the project, the funds will be redirected to a similar activity that furthers the Foundation’s charitable purpose. The Foundation uses a small portion of all contributions for its general operating expenses.
