
Fostering and supporting independence and dignity are core to JEVS service. Community homes provide 24-hour support for up to three individuals with intellectual disabilities. Independence is built by meeting people where they are and providing a range of supports. Our trained staff seek to understand personal preferences and honor each person’s vision of a rich, full life.
Services
- Supports individuals to achieve their full potential and independence
- Maintains and strengthens relationships with friends and families
- Encourages an active and engaged community life—providing support for individuals to serve as volunteers; to engage in religious, cultural, and social activities; to use public transportation; to patronize local businesses; and to enjoy trips and vacations
- Provides excellent direct support to ensure that the individual remains safe at home
Eligibility
- Individuals age 18 or older with an intellectual disability and who are Medicaid waiver approved
Enrollment
- All admissions referred through Intellectual disAbilities Services in Philadelphia, the Montgomery County Office of Intellectual Disabilities and Behavioral Health, or the Pennsylvania State Office of Developmental Programs

Cost
Room and board charge is based on a review of the individual’s income including Social Security and Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
