JEVS offers Diversion and Re-entry programs that support participants in gaining independence and making positive life changes. These services are available to individuals who have been charged with their first nonviolent drug-related offense and who may face time in prison. Instead of going to jail, participants receive mentoring to continue their education, plan for a career, and get involved in community service. Those who successfully complete the program may have their criminal records cleared, which can provide access to new opportunities and reduce the chance of future legal problems.
