The JEVS Work Ready program hosted its annual Toy Drive once again this holiday season, continuing a tradition of giving back to families in the community. This year’s event supported 68 families and 191 children, helping make the holidays a little brighter for those in need.

“It brings me joy to know I helped lighten the load for a few families in my community. It will make my holiday that much sweeter,” said Nicole Quann, Resource Coordinator.

The toy drive was made possible through the generosity of Kerry Wilson and Regina Jones, friends of Karen Clarke, Home Learning Toolkit Facilitator. Their support provided approximately $3,000 worth of toys, games, clothing, and coats, which was matched by the Work Ready program, bringing the total to $6,000. Families also enjoyed a warm hot chocolate station, adding a cozy and welcoming touch to the event.
