Heather Keafer has 25+ years of communications and nonprofit development experience. She previously served as Chief of Communications and Strategies for the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Children and Families and led initiatives in PHL pre-K, Adult Education, and Community Schools.
Heather’s specializations in communications and external affairs include interdepartmental integration strategy, media relations, community engagement, and marketing. She’s also held pivotal nonprofit leadership roles as Interim Executive Director and Director of Fund Development and Communications.
Heather holds a master’s in urban studies from Temple University and a bachelor’s in journalism from Messiah University.
