Waleska, “Wally,” Maldonado serves as JEVS Chief Program Officer. Wally has over 25 years of experience in development and capacity building for nonprofit and government programs. Her background includes formulating and implementing a federally qualified health center and establishing citywide Family Empowerment Centers.
Prior to joining JEVS, Wally was Chief of Prevention Services for the City of Philadelphia, Office of Children and Families, where she oversaw services such as WorkReady and Out of School Time programs. Wally has also served as Chief Program Officer at Congreso de Latinos Unidos where she led education and workforce services, including secondary education partnerships.
She holds a master’s in human services administration from Strayer University and a bachelor’s in business administration from Temple University.
